“Saint Anne Find Me a Man!” The Power of Positive Thinking

“Saint Anne Find Me a Man!” The Power of Positive Thinking
January 25, 2013 Christina Arabolis

My neighbor told me this story.  She believes she heard it at least 25 years ago and believes it to be true…

Saint Anne, according to legend, was married three times.  Her ability to find men was revered and women would pray to her to find the perfect mate.    A young woman was having difficulty finding the perfect man.  She went out on dates, but nothing clicked for her.  They just were not the right one.  She purchased herself a statue of Saint Anne and decided to pray to her everyday to “find her a man.”  Again, she kept going on dates and they went nowhere.  She kept on praying, “Saint Anne, find me a man!”  This went on for 15 years!  She finally decided….ENOUGH!  This is not working.  She was very angry and in a fit of rage decided to throw out the statue of Saint Anne.  She went outside and walked over to her garbage can to throw out the statue.  At the same time, the garbage man had arrived and asked her what she was doing.  She said, “I’ve been praying to this statue of Saint Anne for 15 years to find me a man and it didn’t work so I’m throwing it out.”  The man looked at her and said, ”You know I’m widowed,”  Guess what?  They got married!  Saint Anne found her a man!

The Law of Attraction is about thinking, acting and believing.  All three components must exist for something to manifest itself into material form.  Just because it appears that we are not achieving our said intention is no reason to give up on it.  They usually don’t happen exactly when we want them to.  It is very important to state your intention, work toward that intention and believe you will receive it; but release the outcome.  Leave the outcome to the Universe to decide when you will receive it.  You will reach your goal, but it may not be in on your time scale.  Just keep the faith.

On the path, you will meet people, situations and opportunities you must take advantage of.  Staying in your comfort zone often means that you will not reach your goal.  I encourage you today to set your intentions, act and believe.  Set the bar high, for you have a ladder to climb.  Once set, release the outcome and begin taking your action steps.  Then watch and wait for the magic!
