Most of us living in this modern day life experience high amounts of stress on a daily basis (tell me about it right?!). Think of it as your bodies hard wired alarm system for your protection. When your brain perceives a threat, it signals your body to release a burst of hormones to fuel your capacity for a response. This has been labeled the “fight-or-flight” response. Once the threat is gone, your body is meant to return to a normal relaxed state. Unfortunately, non-stop stress does not allow for your alarm system to shut off.
That’s why stress management is so important. Over time, high levels of stress lead to serious health problems. Don’t wait till stress has a negative impact on your health, relationships, or quality of life.

* sports activities
Stress Management is not an overnight fix but with practice can help manage stress and increase your ability to cope with life’s challenges. It doesn’t matter which one you choose, but it does matter you choose one that works for you. What stress management technique do you find works best for you?
