Eclipse season is the time of year when a full moon and a new moon align alongside the moon’s nodes. Regardless of whether you understand the terminology or not; these energies are potent and powerful. Most importantly they can be harnessed by anyone.
These Eclipses (or Eclipse season as many refer to it as) set the energetic tone for the coming 6 months. Essentially we are planting seeds that we will harvest next year.
The importance of cultivating our soils and getting clear on what it is we wish to create is highlighted during these times.
What’s interesting about the month is that Mercury retrograde will begin and add some interesting dynamics to our journeys.
The most important thing I can say is please do not fear Mercury retrograde. In fact this particular cycle is really going to benefit us.
The truth is that our logical brains can only access the tip of the iceberg. We have limiting beliefs, mental blocks and out of date perceptions that essentially keep us stuck and playing small.
From August 12th (when Mercury stations retrograde) until September 5th (When he turns direct) those “mind games” will be broadcasted louder than even.
This is a good thing! If we don’t allow ourselves to play into these games. The blessings that are coming are revolutionary and we are each deserving of them. However in order to receive them we will need to change the way we think about ourselves and what’s possible.
All that’s needed is a choice. Choose to open the mind to new ways of perceiving. Choose to think bigger. Choose to entertain the idea that maybe anything is possible.
The other part of this time is that it’s okay to feel foggy or unclear. We do not have to have everything figured out. The best attitude to hold is one of openness and honesty. Most importantly let’s be honest and admit that in the big scheme of things; we really know nothing at all.
What’s cool is that this retrograde ends at the same degree of the Eclipse. That means that this cycle is acting as water nurturing our Eclipse intentions. The more we become clear of the ways our head tricks us out of our desires; the closer we can come to receiving those wishes.
The best thing we can all do right now is trust the process, think kind thoughts and decide to be accepting of uncertainty. Enjoy the journey because the cosmos are setting the stage for an exciting adventure.
