Why it is important to teach our children how to be healers

Why it is important to teach our children how to be healers
April 23, 2013 Hayley Hobson

Our children are a reflection of ourselves as much as they are their own beings.

As parents it is important that we teach our children how to be alone, so they don’t just know how to be lonely.

It is also imperative that we teach them about natural medicine and how to navigate the currents of their emotions so that they don’t check out and over medicate every time the going gets tough.

My daughter will grow up educated about how to use nature in all of its forms and facets as she approaches and experiences life.

Instead of dosing herself on pharmaceuticals the second a headache sprouts, or running from painful feelings, or fearing the unknown, my daughter will be armed with the knowledge and power of essential oils to treat emotional conditions, physical ailments and sickness.

I will teach my daughter how to use the power of what nature brings to us.

What are you planning on teaching your children?  I’d love to know.  Please leave your comments in the box below.
